Solange Wilvert

At the request of Fashion Cappuccino, Solange Wilvert is up next on this blog's model feature!
Solange is a Brazilian model who was discovered during a casting session at her public school.  She is known for her long legs (she is 6 feet!), and has been referred to as the "tall Kate Moss".  Since her discovery, she has walked for and worked with big designers.
Off-duty, Solange dresses nothing like what you would expect a model who has worked with so many designers to dress.  She is well-accustomed to hoodies and she reminds me of your everyday girl next door.  Basically, she has down-to-earth style.
Her most recent appearance was at two shows during Spring/Summer 2011 RTW.

    I love her in the Marchesa dress and the Gucci ads! As for her personal style...not very unique or special. She looks like a typical teenage girl, if I had legs as long as that I would flaunt them!
    It would be nice to see Ali Michael next up (have you done her yet?)

    Thank you Angelica! I love Solange and I wish I see her more often! And her legs are so enviable! I think her and Anja Rubik's legs are my favorite legs in the industry..I think it sounds kinda creepy for me to say that, haha. I would love to buy the real Valentino shoes if I have an extra $1000 lying around but right now those Jeffrey Campbells are my best bet! xoxoxoo

    Solange--wow, Im learning here..thanks for this post, i had the right to know the models noh?=)of course...and she has similarity to Kate Moss! and her legs are indeed long and slender! p.s well, I hope the school publication will strat or continue the fashion pages too...I have'nt thought about that...but that is so possible and inspiring...not only about style but also do's and don't's, and what to wear for a job interview--such as that?=)

    Wow, look at those legs! What a gorgeous girl. i like her off-duty look and it makes a lot of sense, considering Brazil is pretty laid back. Lots of girls there run around like her - I'm glad she didn't let the success get to her head.

    @Dahl: I must agree that I'm not impressed by her off-duty style. I'm happy that she does not let fame get to her, but she could spice up her outfits a little! ;)

    @stylemefab: Yes, she doed look like Meester, and she looks so different in Vogue! I'm glad that my feature helped you to recognize her.

    @Dear Girl: There is a lot you can do in a fashion section for students! Hopefully, another fashion writer will take over for me once I leave my high school.
