Summer Shoes

The bulk of my final exams - the most important exams of my high school career - have gone by, with some successes and some frustrating downfalls.  I still have two more coming up, but I thought I'd take advantage of this little break to post my Summer Shoes article (I apologize for the blurry image):
While I wasn't assigned the main fashion story this time (which was Summer Dress Trends), this is my last article for the youth magazine, and I am glad that I was given a chance to write an article about shoes - my blog is, after all, called Red-Soled Fashionista.  Even though I've only written three articles for this magazine, I've learned how the journalism industry works, had my first real (slightly embarrassing) interview, and experienced the thrill that comes from seeing words that I have strung together published on paper.  I highly doubt that the thrill will ever dissipate, no matter how many more articles I write in the future, and you can bet this won't be the last publication I write for.

    Absolutely enjoying the summer shoe trend. I adore wearing my oxfords every chance I get. I think I have three pairs and even substituted the shoelaces with ribbon to give one pair a nautical flair :) And of course I love shoes with the feminine touches too! Blush pink, ribbons, bows, polka dots, all of which are taking over my closet.
    But honestly can a girl ever have too many shoes :) I think not!!!

    gosh, you are such a good writer and this experience in school is a big reference for your future, even it's just a few publications...I hope your exams went well, i understand the feeling and if you really aim for something successful, it scares to the nerves, so im surprised sometimes how other student bloggers can handle both school and the blog...=)I love the shoes feature, i just got a flatform fr topshop, and i def love the Aldo espadrilles.Blush is perfect and sweet!

    I'm happy that you finish your exams, and I hope that they you obetained acceptable results in them. However, I agree with what you write in the article and I mind that this is your lst article for this magazine, even if I'm sure youw ill write something else ;) I do love the shoes and I thank you for your patience to comment every post that I posted in this period.     I bought some wedges like those featured here, just the other day. I love them - I always thought they would be so uncomfortable but not at all, they are perfect - so you clearly have a good eye :-)

    I always love your articles, and if you knew how much i want those Aldo wedges!!!! I have been in the store but they only ever have brown ones and they are not really looking great for me in that color. Anyway i hope i get the exact same color in you article.
