Tiffany & Co.'s ads always warm my heart with their beautiful representation of love. It's not about the jewelery, it's about what that jewelery represents and it's about something that lasts much longer than jewelery. Here's a look at Tiffany's Holiday 2010 ad campaign:
If we ever needed a new colour to represent Valentine's Day, I'd vote for Tiffany blue. I hope that all of you have a wonderful Valentine's Day with whoever it may be, celebrating something that will transcend any piece of jewelry - even from Tiffany's. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

love the campaign. every girls dream. Tiffany
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely ad campaign! Such romantic images.
ReplyDeleteI love Tiffany's, the campaign is so cute and pretty. And you're so right! Jewelry isn't just about the sparkle and the shine, I mean, there must be a reason people decided to wear rings for a wedding, right?

I agree, Tiffany has great presentation. It's all about selling an idea. It's not the actual jewellery, it's the romance they're selling. And very effectively too! Love the campaign.

Very very sweet post, especially the last part that expresses a need (at least I understand it in this way) to return to the origins of the celebrations and not to think only about the commercial/fashion meaning. SOmetimes we think too much abotu designer's purposes for Valentine's day, for instance, and we forgot to think about our lover :)

These pictures are so beautiful and romantic! I could stare at them all day! Tiffany is such a fancy but lovely gift for a special occasion like Valentine's Day! Thank you for such a sweet comment about my break up; it's really hard to go on everyday without thinking about him but he was such an asshole (I'm sorry about that word but he actually was) in the end. So it helps in getting over him. It just hurts when I remembered I used to be so close with him. Hope you're having a gorgeous day :-) xoxooxxoo

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend gave me a ring from Tiffany's yesterday and it was indeed just like the ad! I am now looking at some couture wedding gowns in Paris and I want something unusual and what do you think of this couture brand CLIFFLEE from Paris?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this. I is a dream to own something from Tiffany :) I agree with you, if V-day ever needed a new colour to represent it. it should definitely be Tiffany blue. :)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to hearing from you

I can't imagine a better place to spend Valentine's Day than Tiffany!! Perfect!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh so nice! I do love the Tiffany blue color. All of these ads are really sweet, and I love the way the bright turquoise bags pop out against the stark white snow. It's also quite true that it's important to recognize the things in life that will last much longer than a piece of jewelry, or the feelings that a piece of jewelry symobolizes! Hope you had a wonderful Valentines day.
ReplyDeletethey really do have all the best pictures!
