While waiting to pick up the
Louis Vuitton bag I posted about earlier, I had time to look around the store. I don't often pay attention to accessories, but I'm glad I did! The Louis Vuitton Lily caught my eye because of its unique flower detailing on the side:
I tried it on, and I was surprised at how feminine yet glamorous it was. I looked ready to step into one of those glam Michael Kors ads! Currently, I own a more classic pair of Coach Chelsea sunglasses:
They obviously lack the beachy glamour of the LVs, but are sweet and more fitting during the winter (yes, you should still wear sunglasses on those sunny winter days!). What do you prefer? Glamour, classic sophistication, both, or something different altogether?

Lovely sunglasses. I always have to wear sunglasses in the winter, the sun is brutal when it reflects off of ice and snow.
ReplyDeleteCute blog!
ReplyDeleteI tend to go for oversized cat eyed-glasses or aviators myself.
I really like the Anna Wintour quote you have in your headline!

They're both lovely ... would love to try the first pair in the spring -- so happy!
ReplyDeleteOoh, they're so cool! I love the first pair! xoxoxoo
ReplyDeletebutterfly shaped sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteI like these but nothing beats my over-sized tortoise-shell ones :)

Love them!! : ) xx
ReplyDeleteI don't like these sunglasses in particular (I prefer designer, for the eyewear, like FOrd, Margiela or Chanel) but in general I like the women who wear sunglasses in winter days because I thinkt aht is an ancient idea to wear sunglasses only in summer...ANd it's fondamental to think out of the "classic minds" to be fashion!

Cat eye are my current fav! No shopping for this purchase online either - it is a must try on item!

Great sunglasses!
ReplyDeleteBtw, thanks for your comment on my blog, I really appreciate it

I'm looking for a pair of colored sunglasses at the moment! Like purple or blue ones - very Johnny Depp to me=)
ReplyDeleteI am more into classic shapes/designs for sunglasses just because I know they wont go out of style
ReplyDeleteI like the flower detailing, but I generally prefer classic sunglasses. I had a pair of similar shades without frames ages ago, but I prefer either an aviator style or something with a thick darker frame.
ReplyDeleteThe first pair, I like quirky glasses, so much more fun!
ReplyDeleteLove them - the black ones are fav :) xx
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling the first pair would be quite popular! If only I had the money to buy it...but it's nice to see classic sunglasses getting their fair share of attention.
ReplyDelete@Clare and E: It is important to wear sunglasses in the winter! It's so funny when my friends look at me weird and ask why I'm wearing sunglasses in the winter.
@Brenda: Somehow, I knew you'd say that. ;)
@Cupcake: Oh yes! In fact, I don't find online shopping convenient, because it's always good to actually wear whatever it is you're buying first.
@Antonia: You're right! And who wouldn't want to be one step closer to being with Johnny Depp? ;)
I'm definitely a fan of Aviators & Ray-Bans :)
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer the second pair!
