As much as everyone will tell you that Christmas is not about receiving presents, I must admit that as a fashion lover, there are bound to be a couple of things on my wish list. I don't have specific items that I want, but rather general pieces. How materialistic of me, I know! But spare me...
1) A leather jacket. I've been looking everywhere for the perfect affordable leather jacket that is somewhat edgy, but at the same time classic. I also don't want those leather jackets with any fabric; I want a full leather jacket. And it must be a leather jacket, not a polyurethane jacket. They're called leather jackets for a reason. Wow, I'm picky.
2) A wool jacket. A camel coat would be very nice, but any neutral is perfect. Preferably double-breasted and expertly tailored.
3) A classic tan trenchcoat.
4) A nice leather handbag. I've got leather mini cross-body bags, but an actual handbag would be nice!
5) A pair of feminine, slouchy shorts.
6) And finally this is something I've wanted ever since I started following fashion: a superpower that would allow me to look at something in a fashion magazine and have it magically appear in front of me (in my size, and without any economical or social repercussions). Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?
But in the end, Christmas really is about spending time with the family, appreciating life and all the joy that life brings, and I hope that when you're done opening presents, you'll take the time to remember that. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Ah, it's so much fun to look at people's wishlists. Yours is definitely snazzy. I totally dig that magic power! Wouldn't that make for a pretty rad super hero? I THINK SO. We'll get on it! I can see it happenin'.

you said that those jewelry are not exactly your personal style, well I can see from that wish list that your style is a little bit elegant and lots of basics! I like it too (; but adding some twist to your look some times doesn't harm.

@stylemefab: Yes, if I do happen to get #6, all the others would be irrelevant!
ReplyDelete@Hadas: You summed up my personal style perfectly! But you're right, adding a twist never hurts!

Nice wish list. And who doesn't want that fashion superpower? Seriously, WAY cool.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you though, Christmas is made special by the company you keep. I'm just happy to have spent it with my family, especially my dad, who I don't get to see very often. Life is good! And my new Jeffrey Campbells don't hurt either ;)

Love the wishlist. I'm dreaming of a perfect bag as well.
