At the request of
Project INVOGUE, Jourdan Dunn is up next on this blog's model feature!
While many models are known for their physical features and their personality, Jourdan is unique in that she's very well-known for her stand on having more ethnic variety on the runway. In 2008, she was the first black model to walk for Prada in over a decade! It's definitely not a stretch to say she may be the next Naomi Campbell (minus the cellphone throwing).
But of course, as a model, she's loved for her long legs and her great runway walk. Jourdan is also very good friends with fellow model Chanel Iman:
On the streets, Jourdan's got surprisingly casual style. Nothing flashy or overtly glamourous, just young and laid-back:

I lvoe the first paragraph "she may be the next Naomi Campbell (minus the cellphone throwing)" ahaha But, BTW, I like this model I don't believe she could be the next Naomi Campbell (Chanel Iman could be...). SHe is, however, a truly itneresting model I don't like her looka t prada (but I don't like indeed the prada show or better it wasn't on "my style") but her look at Rodarte, Pucci and Missoni show totally her beauty and brightness....

Love her! (that's why we requested her...lol) Remember seeing her in the Nov 09 Teen Vogue issue...as a "rising teen model". Now she is doing all of these shows!!!

@E: Thank you! But it's very interesting that you don't see her as the next Naomi Campbell...why not? I can definitely see Chanel Iman doing it too though. And I too disliked the Prada collection for spring; I prefer the fall collection much more.
@Project INVOGUE: Well, I don't read Teen Vogue, but I do remember reading about her when she was still a fresh face, and yes, look at her now!
Jourdan Dunn and Chanel Iman might just be the new Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks...but less fierce....
