Top Designer + Top Model

My friend and dear reader sent me this video to check out, and it was extremely thoughtful since I'm pretty sure she knows how much I love Coco Rocha.  On June 17, 2011, there will be a Jean Paul Gaultier retrospective covering the past 35 years, featuring both ready-to-wear and haute couture pieces in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.  Below is a video filmed by James Conran (Coco's husband) documenting an exclusive editorial by Elle magazine with pieces from the archive.

This video perfectly demonstrates Coco's fantastic posing abilities, and the reason why magazines, designers and photographers continue to turn to her whenever they need a professional model that's going to give it her all, and look gorgeous at the same time.

  4. What an amazing video! James Conran does a fabulous job shooting Coco, and I love how there are flashes between scenes of Montreal and then photo shoots of Coco. She is unreal in front of the camera--she really knows how to move her body in an almost dancer-like way. And the clothes...are of course fabulous!

  5. Hi Angelica! Coco Rocha is one of my all-time favorite models because she's such a great model and everyone who worked with her says such glowing things about her!

Thank you so much for such a thoughtfully written comment on my post! Oh yeah, I know what you mean about those books..they make cheating looks so glamorous and a normal thing for people to do! It's so crazy! I've never cheated on my boyfriends (I've only had two boyfriends in my life and they were all long-term) and I was naive enough to think they're all special and different but in the end, they all turned out to be just like every other jerk out there! I'm going to focus on my education and career for now and hopefully, we'll meet our knights in shining armor who won't let us down :-) xoxoxooo
